When is the breeding season for......?
Parrots Unlimited has babies year-round. However certain species lay at different times of the year. Outlined below is a breakdown as to the breeding season for various species:
- Cockatoos and African Greys – Tend to be winter and spring breeders
- Amazons – Breeding season is limited to spring and early winter
- Asian Parakeets – Tend to be winter breeders
- Conures – Varies by species – Some are spring and summer breeders and others are late summer breeders
- Macaws – Breed in spring and summer
- Eclectus – Spring
- Lories – Spring and summer breeders
How much will my parrot cost?
